How do I restore my Pro subscription on a new device?

Go to Settings and tap "Restore Purchases." If you have an active subscription or lifetime purchase, your Pro features will be restored automatically through your Apple ID.

Is my data backed up?

All shot data, bean profiles, and machine info are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. If you have iCloud backup enabled for your device, your app data will be included. We recommend keeping iCloud backup enabled. Pro users can also export data as CSV or JSON.

How does Bluetooth scale connection work?

DialedBrew connects to BLE scales automatically. Go to Settings, enable Bluetooth, then start a new shot — your scale will appear in the device list. We support 14+ brands including Acaia, Decent, Felicita, Timemore, and more. Weight and flow data are recorded at 1Hz during extraction.

How does AI Shot Analysis work?

DialedBrew uses Apple's on-device Vision framework to analyze your espresso. Rate My Froth, Crema Check, Grind Analysis, and Puck Inspector all run locally on your iPhone — no data is ever sent to a server. The AI provides feedback on grind size, extraction, and technique.

Can I use the app offline?

Yes. DialedBrew is designed offline-first. The timer, shot logging, Bluetooth scale connection, bean library, maintenance tracking, and all AI analysis features work with zero internet connection. An internet connection is only needed to manage your subscription through the App Store.
